Ramanathapuram was the oldest city know across the country with many values and valuable in all, this were ruled by Agamudayar (Servai), and they brought many different type of peoples in the region according to work, they spend lot of effort to build this region, where due to many family issues and robberies happened in that time. the people in the same region where doing such robberies and other illegality to people who come from north. then they found the culprits and they decided to give the ruling to maravars. then onwards this peoples were kept the region downwards, but some of the agamudayars helped them to rule and develop. But maravars had never had the knowledge of ruling and many other had left with empty, there activities where not much, due maravars rules changed but they where unable to develop the region, we can count people of maravars had done few changes with Agamudayars but rest of ruling was total lost in many ways these lead to this region downside.
