Ramnad has a very densely and highest salty water available in the sea (World Second) and rain is very very lower in the place (Dry place in some seasons). Valinokkam is one of the place which produce of salt in ramnad district. Since, Ramnad district is highly dense of salt water and so, the iron even get rested very soon.
